About the unit

The evaporative cooling water chiller is derived from an evaporative cooler. In fact, it is a kind of heat exchanger that combines the performance of a water-cooled cooler and a conventional cooling tower. It is also a kind of heat exchanger between the water cooler and air cooler. Therefore, it is called "evaporative air cooler" by manufacturers. At present, there are many forms of this kind of cooling equipment. Their common characteristics are spraying water and forced ventilation outside the wall heat exchanger. Heat is transferred from the cooled fluid in the wall heat exchanger to the spray water outside the wall through the wall surface, and then to the air through the forced convection between the spray water and the air. The heat transfer of the spray water to the air is mainly the latent heat evaporated by the spray water and the spray water and air It is composed of sensible heat exchange of gas. Due to the closed circulating flow of the cooled fluid between the inner wall heat exchanger and the external process equipment, in order to distinguish it from the general cooling tower in which the cooled fluid directly contacts with air, it is called "closed tower", and correspondingly, the general cooling tower is called "open tower".

It can be used to condense the process steam such as the refrigerant condensation of distillation tower and refrigerator, the condensation of water vapor in the steam turbine, steam jet refrigerator, evaporation tank, and waste steam condenser, and also can be used as air compressor water cooler, engine casing water cooler, transformer oil cooler and compressor exhaust cooling.
